Behaviour Profiles

Identify Gaps In Your Work Performance

Why Assessment?

Human beings do not come with manuals. Guidelines therefore relating to their hiring, motivation, welfare, coaching, training, development and management are compiled from data which is broad and unspecific frequently requiring hit and miss strategies to be adopted. While you will never be 100 per cent sure, you can by conducting the appropriate assessment reduce uncertainty to levels that maximises success for both parties. Recruitment is an obvious area for implementing psychometric tests however there are numerous other applications for their use. Their main purpose is to bring a greater level of clarity and certainty to executive decision making which will lead to higher levels of productivity, more job satisfaction, increased morale, effective team interaction and a decrease in staff turnover.

Assessments Foundation and Validity

The assessments offered by Quinn Training are behavioural style profiles based on DISC which is now recognised worldwide as the universal language of human behaviour or ‘how we act’.

DISC personal profiles simply describes the difference in how people approach problems, other people, pace and procedures. It is described as a neutral language with no right or wrong precedent.

DISC is based on the work of the renowned psychologist Dr William Moulton Marston (1893) a Harvard educated scholar and author. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Dr. Thomas Hendrickson of TM Hendrickson and Associates, developed Marston’s insights further to produce the Personal Profile Analysis for the workplace. Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) has received a certificate of registration from the British Psychological Society (BPS) to confirm it meets all the psychometric requirements for use as a behavioural analysis tool. Quinn Training is a accredited certified provider of these instruments and is fully qualified in their use.

How It Works

Respondents are given a coded link enabling them to access a short online questionnaire incorporating 24 forced choice questions and takes no more than 10-12 minutes to complete.

It doesn’t show ‘good’ or ‘bad’ qualities, it provides an understanding of how a person prefers to behave at work and the characteristics they will demonstrate.

There are no right or wrong answers. When completed an electronically generated report is forwarded almost instantaneously to a designated email address of your choosing.
